TripHarOriginal Creators are all creators who join before TripHar launches in the App Store and test with us via TestFlight. You get everything a Verified Creator has, without applying. Plus a badge that won’t exist after launch.

Who can become a creator
Before launch we invite people personally; after launch you apply in the app. Either way, a person from our team decides.

If your status ended no more than 12 months ago, you don’t need the reach for a new application; our team then decides based on your activity. The exact rules are in the Terms of Service, section 12.
How it works
No bot: every invitation comes from a person.

- TestFlight invitation18+, with a confirmed age. You sign in to the app, send us your TripHar name and become an Original Creator.
- 12 months from launchYour 12 months only start with the App Store launch. Until then, the benefits run with no end date.
Staying active
The same applies to Original and Verified Creators: the status first runs for 12 months, then we extend it by 3 months at a time as long as you’re active. Active means: at least 3 complete trips in the 3 months before, or 6 in the 6 months before.
For Original Creators, the 12 months only start with the App Store launch. The app shows you on every trip what it still needs to count.
Your status never ends automatically. If it’s not enough one time, a person from our team looks at your activity and gets in touch. If it does end, you keep the badge, and you can apply again without waiting.
A trip is complete when it …
- was created by you
- is public and finished
- is confirmed on site
- has a cover photo and at least 3 photos
- has at least one destination and one linked place
- is checked in at every linked place
- has a public Trippy of your own
- has a story of your own
Reviews, events and everything else don’t count towards this and aren’t required.
